SNEHKUNJ organised Special Athletic Meet for Special needy children every year associated with Special Olympic Bharat Delhi.This year, 13th Special Athletic Meet was organized on 1st December 2023 at Sneh kunj wherein over 550 children from 26 Special schools and above 100 invitees from the different fields participated and graced the occasion .Relaxo Footwear and Singhvi Charitable trust are our regular donors who help us to organize this Mega Event.
The event was started with Mashal lighting and Special children’s March from different schools.Our Chief guests Dr. Ashish Chaudhry Managing Director Akash HealthCare Super speciality hospital,Dr.Vidya Nair Chaudhry Eye Specialist Akash HealthCare Super speciality hospital,Mr.Sushil Batra CFO Relaxo Footwear,Mr. Mukesh Sinha Editor Dwarka city and Social Activist started the program with Mashal lighting and balloons blowing . Then all schools participated in different games like shot put ,short ball throw, tennis ball throw, drawing competition and Fancy dress competition.All the winners were honoured with Medals Gold , Silver and bronze.All the participants were honoured with participation Certificates and Refreshment also and all schools were awarded with Momentos as well.Tahsildar Dwarka Smt.Harminder Kaur was also present to grace the occasion.Some other guests and Social Activist Mrs.Sudha Sinha, Mrs Usha Zalpuri,Mrs.Madhumita Vishwas,Mr P K Chopra,Mr. I M Khanna, Mr .B S Jhamb were also present to boost the morale of our special Children.At the end of the program Mr K N SINGH President Sneh kunj thanked all the Guests, Invitees and children for participating and made the event successful.
